Dear V.C.C. Valued Member,

As the newly appointed President, with the full backing of the executive committee of the Verona Chamber of Commerce, I welcome the opportunity to help reorganize the chamber after the sudden resignations of it’s president & secretary.  Moving forward, especially in these times, it is very important for us to be unified. The chamber is almost 30 years old and it is my goal to help see it survive.

My first task will be to work with our town liaison, Bob Manley to regain our T.V. show. The Verona Chamber Roundtable was abruptly cancelled last month. This program has been aired on VTV for over 12 years and is of great value to our members and the community it serves. I commend Scott Drukker and Jim Thomas who have so generously donated their time in ensuring it’s success and providing a fun, informative and newsworthy show. I also hold with the highest regard the previous hosts, the late Vincent Bulger, Dr. Thomas E. Malanga & Steven Amadeo, who were gracious enough to devote their time and talent to make it a worthwhile show. Only in Verona!

And now for some great news! One Verona business owner has come forward, Anthony Lombardi of Anthony Roberts Salon and “Jerseylicous” fame, and has consented to donate his time in hosting the Chamber show. He is a national celebrity & would bring our local TV show to the next level. I hope, with the help of the mayor & town council, we can all agree to work together to spread the good news about the Verona business community and it’s citizens.

With the holiday season almost upon us, I welcome this opportunity to serve and I will keep you informed as developments unfold.

My door is always open and the executive committee and I welcome your suggestions and help in creating a better Verona Chamber of Commerce.
